Typically, most Cursed Games are 'online urban legends' or 'myths', whether or not there are real cursed games out there is a total mystery. Usually cursed games are meant to actually induce fear in the player, mixed in with negative effects that can cause harm to the player or anything they own such as their machines. Cursed games can be considered a 'step above' horror games, the definition is very flexible, but cursed games are generally games that can cause negative effects to players besides simply fear, intentionally or not.
Generally, horror games are games designed to frighten the players of the game with no other negative effects.
