Think outside the box.Īnd fair warning, the first handful of levels are pretty awful as a representation of the greatness of the rest of the game. If you can't find the key to a door you might just be able to blow it up. But anything is viable.Įxplore everything. I found my most used ones were human invisibility, super speed, lung power for underwater exploration, health regeneration, and the overall cost reduction Aug. Speaking of Augs, you often have to choose between a couple options. Health kits and bio cells are great, and you'll pick up some weapons (but some are too large for what you get). Crouch and move out of sight, and hit guards in the back with a baton to instantly knock them out. Weapon wise I like the pistol and blunt objects. A couple levels in each can help a lot, but more than that is probs not worth it. Lock picking and electronics are two sides of the same coin and determine how many of each you need to bypass stuff. Computer is super important as it let's you hack terminals and turrets and stuff.
Then there are some skills you want: some computer, some lock picking, some electronics.
What I did was just keep difficulty on easy to avoid excessive frustration. Its never gonna feel like a 'modern' game.
